New Projects
I’m currently in pre-production for my next CD, which will be a trio recording with jazz heavies Ric Fierabracci and Joey Heredia. I’ve been working with Joey for the past three years, and when Ric came to see us play in Hollywood one night he dug what we were doing, so we started rehearsing and I arranged a bunch of my new tunes for trio (and to feature Ric’s outrageous chops, of course). We’ll be recording a couple of Bulerias, a Tanguillo, a Solea Por Buleria, a Rumba, and Alegria and a few others, so stay tuned.
The project will be recorded at my studio, Universal Exports, and will be engineered by myself and Ric, with Ric doing the mixing and mastering.
